Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure opens the list of players applying for the 22nd International Women’s Tennis Tournament Bella Cup.
The application process for this year’s Bella Cup is now closed. We know all the contestants qualified for the grand tournament. Starting with the highest ranking position (150th place) is Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure. This year she has won the indoor tournament in Altenkirchen (25000$), and represented her country on the Fed Cup’s courts. She recently went all the way to the quarter-final in the tournament in Padua.
Second place belongs to 20-year-old Austrian Barbara Haas, who triumphed in Naples’ tournament. From the ranking’s top 200 we will also see Isabella Shinikova form Bulgaria and Tereza Martincova from Czech Republic.
In the grand tournament, along with the wild card Magdalena Fręch, we will get to watch Katarzyna Kawa, who represented Poland in Fed Cup.
Among many other contestants, we will also see Georgian Ekatarine Gorgodze this year, who won last Bella Cup doubles together with Sofia Shapatava.
